I heard it's good for diets?
Our jerky is made from very low fat beef and venison. All beef and venison are low in carbohydrates and high in protein. Protein has been found to 'suppress' hunger pangs for longer than carb rich foods.

Our Beef and Venison Jerky is currently available in the following flavours:-

BEEF

  • Original
  • - simply quality Scotch beef or venison marinaded slowly

  • Cracked Black Pepper
  • - with cracked pieces of black pepper. Crunch one and experience a pepper 'hit'.

  • Hot Chilli
  • - with added heat - builds with every strip you chew.

  • Smoky
  • - with a hint of smoke in the aftertaste

  • Mild Mustard
  • - with a mild taste of mustard

  • Curry
  • - with a little heat, but more a range of different herb and spicy flavours

    VENISON

  • Original
  • - just venison - a little more gamy than beef

  • Cracked Black Pepper
  • - as with our beef version - with a 'zing' when you crunch a peppercorn

  • Chilli
  • - a little less heat than in the beef - well we don't want to overpower that gamy flavour

  • Smoky
  • - with a hint of smoke in the aftertaste

Our sources of meat and process

Our jerky is made entirely in the Highlands of Scotland, from 100% pure Scottish grass fed beef and wild Highland venison. On receipt of the piece of topside,Piece of Topside of Beef we remove the fat covering. So our staring point is Trimmed Topside.

We then cut this topside into strips, removing grissle in the process to ensure only the purest, top quality strips make it into our jerky.

These strips are then marinated before being laid out on our trays, for dehydration in our air dryer.

When ready, we vacuum pack the jerky to keep it fresh and safe for you to enjoy within the next YEAR.
