We started making and selling beef jerky in July 2002 in Nairn, a small town 16 miles from Inverness, in the Highlands of Scotland. Since then we've been developing our reach into the market within the UK and beyond..
We feel there is something special about the green fields and lush heather hills that helps in the rearing of some of the best beef and venison available anywhere. So we thought it was only right to try to use these ingredients to make a more refined better quality beef and venison jerky..
We also felt North Americans had had jerky to themselves for too long. We first came across jerky during a trip to Canada - where it was sold in a cookie jar on the counter.
